This is what happens when you get too eager to start on a hank of wool without winding it first...it's so upsetting to look at, just one big tangled mess of beautiful yarn, how silly am I???? Being so disheartened about this one I obtained a ball winder and set to work on the other two hanks I had purchased from The Knittery and proceeded to get them all tangled too. Thankfully they are a thicker 8ply and were relatively easy to get sorted out, so I have two nicely wound balls, one of which I've started working on for a friend's birthday coming up. I still have this mess waiting for me though, taunting me with its messiness, it's going to send me around the twist - aaaaaahhhhhhhh!
